It is the oldest and most prestigious school of the British Indian period. It is located in the heart of Sunamganj city, next to Sunamganj Stadium . The school is widely recognized as the best school in Sunamganj.
H.M.P. High School and College provides education in Bangla medium at primary, lower secondary, secondary and higher secondary levels under the national curriculum. For the science department, this institution has a physics lab, chemistry lab, biology lab. There is also a computer lab as per the needs of everyone. The college has a rich library. The library has about 5 thousand books in addition to daily, weekly, fortnightly and monthly newspapers and magazines. The library is being continuously enriched and it is gradually becoming a quality library.
The annual winter sports competition is held at the beginning of the year.
The organization has Scout activities. Scout members have been playing a special role in all kinds of programs of the organization.
